The LibRT Rule Management System (RMS) enables business experts to maintain and test rules in different representation formats which are stored in a database (rule base). The RMS works on the same database as the Computer Associates' CleverPathTM Aion^® Business Rules Expert Dynamic Rule Manager. Like the Computer Associates' CleverPath™ Aion^® Business Rules Expert Dynamic Rule Manager it enables you to maintain rules in the rulebase so that the business experts are less dependent on programmers from the IT department of the organisation. In addition to maintaining rules, the user can:

• Test decision tables by executing them in forward or backward chaining mode.
• Import static production rules from Computer Associates' CleverPathTM Aion^® Business Rules Expert.
• Use various knowledge representation formats such as production rules and decision trees.
• Define and use constraints for attributes so that the user can select from a list of possible attribute values.
• Depending on your situation we are able to customize the RMS to your specific needs.

The LibRT Rule Management System (RMS) is a standalone application, which is almost constantly under development. You can acquire a license on the latest version of the RMS but most of the time we customize the features of the RMS to meet the specific needs of a certain domain.
